Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming members of the German Bundestag for an inspiring exchange on the future of space innovation in Germany.π€
It was a privilege to host Silke Launert (Member of the German Bundestag, MdB)Β , Dr. Inge GrΓ€Γle (Member of the German Bundestag, MdB), Volker Mayer-Lay (Member of the German Bundestag, MdB), and Tom Bergmann (member of Dr. Launert's team).
During the discussion, we introduced Yuri and shared our long-term strategic vision, particularly our work on organoids and how microgravity research can unlock new possibilities for healthcare and biotechnology. We also exchanged views on the future of Yuri in Germany, the importance of continued government support for the space sector, and the commercialization of Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
Germany has a unique opportunity to strengthen its position as a leader in the new space economy by fostering innovation, enabling public-private collaboration, and supporting pioneering companies that are translating space research into real-world impact.
A big thank you to our guests for the open dialogue and their interest in advancing the future of commercial space and life sciences. We look forward to continuing the conversation and working together to shape the next chapter of European space innovation.π
